The Jordan 4 Retro "Infrared" offers striking colour blocking that harkens back to the 2013 Jordan 4 "Green Glow" release. The upper is made of smooth nubuck in a charcoal colour. The forefoot overlay is a lighter shade of grey, with black accents on the quarter panel netting, structural wings, and Jumpman-branded heel tab. The sneaker's titular hue illuminates the woven tongue tag and a quartet of moulded eyelets. For a smooth ride, a polyurethane midsole incorporates visible Air-sole cushioning in the heel.
