Tinker Hatfield's 1989 design for the women's Jordan 4 Retro "Canyon Purple" receives a thorough facelift. The upper of the shoe is constructed from shaggy suede with a vivid purple finish rather than its customary leather or nubuck construction. The speckled eyelets and midsole have lime green highlights, and the woven tongue tag has a Safety Orange version of the iconic Jumpman emblem. The contrast of black on the moulded wings, the heel tab with the Jumpman imprinted on it, and the herringbone-traction rubber outsole helps to balance off the vibrant colours.
