The Tinker Hatfield-created original colorway of the first Air Jordan model is brought back in the 2022 release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro in "Fire Red." The sneaker, which debuted in 1988, has a white leather top with dark grey overlays with elephant prints on the forefoot and heel. Perforated leather collar, moulded eyelets, and polyurethane midsole with a visible Air-sole unit tucked in the heel all include contrast crimson highlights. The Jumpman emblem is stitched on the tongue, and "Nike Air" is imprinted on the heel, both in complementary shades of Fire Red.
