The Jordan 1 Retro High "University Blue" uses a well-known colour scheme in honour of Michael Jordan's alma mater, UNC. The all-leather upper has a black trademark Swoosh and a white base with powder blue overlays. The collar, tongue tag, and printed Wings emblem on the lateral collar flap all have matching black accents. The normal Jordan 1 outsole, which has multidirectional traction and a pivot point under the forefoot, is painted a brighter shade of blue.
