Omega Psi Phi, the fraternity that Michael Jordan joined while a student at the University of North Carolina, served as the inspiration for the brilliant colour scheme used on the Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Brotherhood." A white leather quarter panel and Light Bordeaux nubuck overlays are combined in the upper. University Gold wraparound leather overlays at the collar and heel match a leather toe box. The nylon tongue is adorned with a leather Nike Air tag, and the lateral ankle is imprinted with the iconic Wings logo. A rubber cupsole with an Air-sole heel unit enclosed in lightweight polyurethane supports the high-top.
