The Jordan 1 Mid "Fire Red" features a colour pattern inspired by Chicago. The smooth leather top is accented with white quarter panels and black overlays at the forefoot and heel. The perforated toe box, mid-cut collar, and trademark Swoosh are all accented in fire red. The red nylon tongue has a woven Jumpman tag, and the lateral collar flap has a debossed Wings emblem. The rubber cupsole pays homage to the original 1985 design, with an Air-sole heel unit encased in lightweight polyurethane.
