The Jordan 1 Mid "Black Gym Red" steps out in a familiar colour scheme that honours the Jordan franchise’s Chicago roots. The black overlays and red Nike Swoosh contrast with the white leather of the sneaker's upper. Gym Red also makes an appearance on the rubber outsole, padded collar, woven tongue tag, throwback Wings logo debossed on the lateral ankle, and Jumpman logo. Traditional elements of the Air Jordan 1 design, such as the perforated toe box and breathable nylon tongue, are still present.
