The Jordan 1 High Zoom Air CMFT "Black Chile Red" provides Michael Jordan's classic first signature shoe a more contemporary aesthetic. 2020 saw the release of the alternate Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT model as part of Jordan's ongoing attempts to improve the performance and aesthetics of the real sneaker. The Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Air features additional padding around the ankle collar and a variety of materials and hues for a brand-new look. There are overlays made of blazing Chile Red suede on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. The perforated toe, mid-panel, and collar are made of a black synthetic nubuck material. A black "Wings" motif is printed on the collar, while the Swoosh logos on either side of the shoe are completed in a washed-out orange canvas. In order to increase comfort, Jordan replaces the basic Air unit present in the first Jordan 1 High OG model with Zoom Air cushioning.
