The Adidas Yeezy 500 "Blush" had a limited pre-order in New York and Los Angeles in February 2018 before going on sale to the general public in April 2018. Its name is appropriate because the homogeneous light taupe finish hardly has any discernible colour. A strong silhouette with a panelled mesh and suede upper and a chunky midsole evoking adidas' "Feet You Wear" technology from the 1990s stands in stark contrast to the muted colour scheme.
